We are very excited to have Yu-Han Hsu, who graduated from the Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics PhD Program in May 2018. Her Advisor was Joel Hirschhorn and her thesis was titled “Developing Computational Methods for Analyzing Metabolomics Data and Applications to Study Obesity”.

Fatma wins Broad Institute’s Shark Tank competition

Kasper chairs the Genetics and Analytics Advisory Panel at Biogen
Kasper chaired a Genetics and Analytics Advisory Panel at Biogen aiming to bring genomic and analytical approaches to drug target identification and validation in neurological diseases. On the panel was Ben Neale (Harvard, MGH, the Broad Institute), Sarah Teichman (Wellcome Trust Genome Institute, co-Chair of the Organizing Committee of the Human Cell Atlas), Anshul Kundaje (Stanford University), Soumya Raychaudhuri (Harvard University and BWH), and Emma Lundberg (Stanford University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology).
Kasper celebrates 10 yrs of service at MGH
Kasper recently celebrated his 10 years of service at Massachusetts General Hospital. From his post doctoral training to his current position as Associate Professor of Surgery and Medicine, it’s hard to believe it’s already been 10 years! Here is to many more years! Congratulations boss!!
April accepts PhD offer from Computational Biology program at JHU
April, who joined the Lage Lab in August 2015, has recently accepted a full scholarship to Computational Biology PhD program at Johns Hopkins University. She looks forward to continuing working with the Lage Lab from her new position at Hopkins and we wish her the best of luck!
